Let Brooklyn Be Brooklyn

I never went to sleep that night before the road trip to NYC.  I stayed up watching criminal minds and Mad men till it was time to go to the gare centrale downtown.  We got on the greyhound bus. the first i had ever been on, and it was actually pretty swell.  We got to Brooklyn at about 5pm today and we sat around the hostel, the new york loft hostel, quite the amazing place actually, very roomy, and made small chit chat with the people there.  We finally ended up going to this bar called the Life Cafe.  The bartender there was this gorgeous girl named Julie, with a huge english accent which is just amazing beyond...well anything.  We invited to this party tomorrow night at another which i believe we will attend.  Me and Mark met Tyler here, whose rideshare from Montreal went pretty splendid.  The Red sox lost vs the Yanks...which we all knew was going to happen, but it didnt stop me from getting sloshed and get free shots from the awesome Julie.  Tomorow I get to cross off Shea Stadium off my list, finally.  Until then.

Habs Road Trip Project: Western Canada; a sure thing

The road trip will begin on a greyhound on October 1st, 2009, where I will make my way to the funeral home they call the ACC and see the Habs manhandle the Maple Leafs in Toronto. We are to leave post-game and take an overnight bus (which will also take 2 days) to Calgary. After a few days in a Calgary hostel and seeing the city, the canadiens will play the flames in game 2 of the trip. We follow that with an overnighter bus to vancouver. 2 nights in vancouver and an awesome game 3 with Luongo followed by a greyhound back to to edmonton for game 4 and the last of the trip. We sleep that night and take the longest greyhound back home, about 3 days to montreal. We will be home on the 14th.

After these arenas, I will have seen:

1.Toronto
2.Ottawa
3.Boston
4.Buffalo
5.Pittsburgh
6.Florida
7.Tampa Bay
8.New Jersey
9.Calgary
10.Vancouver
11.Edmonton
